These are the rules the Axso team follows for Axso Daily and every article on this site. If you think we broke one, tell us at hello@axsomedia.com.

How we choose stories

Every story has to pass one test: does it change how a local business runs?

We look for news that affects costs and prices, hiring and pay, taxes, loans and interest rates, rules and permits, customers, and the tools businesses use. If a story matters only to investors or to people inside one big company, we usually leave it out.

For every story, we say what happened, what it means for a local business, and one thing you can do about it. When news affects some kinds of businesses and not others, we say which ones.

Sources

Every story links to its source, so you can check it yourself.

We go to primary sources whenever we can: government agencies, court and regulatory filings, company announcements and official data. We also use reputable news outlets. When we rely on one, we name it and link to it.

We write in our own words. When we quote someone, we keep the quote short and say who said it.

Accuracy and corrections

We work to get every fact, number and name right before we publish.

When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly. We correct the story and add a dated correction note at the end that says what we changed.

To report an error, email hello@axsomedia.com with the story and what’s wrong.

Politics

We cover politics only when it changes how you run your business. That means new laws, rules, taxes, tariffs and court decisions that affect your costs, your staff or how you operate. We report what changed and what it means for you. We don’t cover campaigns or political fights for their own sake, and we don’t tell you how to vote.

Sponsors

Axso has no sponsors yet. When we add them:

  • Every paid placement is labeled “Sponsored.”
  • Sponsors never choose, review or approve what we cover.

Independence and conflicts of interest

If we cover a company that has a business relationship with Axso or its owners, we say so in the story.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help with research and drafts. Every rule on this page applies to everything we publish, however it was drafted.
