These terms cover your use of axsomedia.com and the Axso Daily email. By using the site or signing up for the email, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site or the email.

Who we are

Axso publishes axsomedia.com and Axso Daily, a free business news email for people who run local businesses. In these terms, “Axso,” “we” and “us” mean Axso. You can reach us at hello@axsomedia.com.

General information, not advice

Everything we publish is general information. It is not legal, tax, financial or investment advice, and it isn’t written for your specific business. Before you act on something you read here, such as changing your prices, pay, taxes, loans or contracts, talk to a qualified professional who knows your situation, such as a lawyer, accountant or financial advisor.

When we mention a product, tool or price, check the details with the seller before you buy. Prices and features change often.

Accuracy

We work to get things right, and we fix mistakes when we find them (our Editorial standards explain how). But news moves fast, and we can’t promise that every detail is complete, correct or current. Rules, prices and tools can change after we write about them.

Using the site and Axso Daily

• You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
• We may change, pause or stop the site, the email or any part of them at any time.

Our content

Everything we publish on the site and in Axso Daily, including articles, issues, graphics, and the Axso name and logo, belongs to Axso or is used with permission.

You’re welcome to:

• Share links to our articles and issues anywhere.
• Quote a short passage, as long as you credit Axso and link to the original.
• Forward Axso Daily to someone you think would find it useful.

Without our written permission, please don’t:

• Republish or copy whole articles or issues, or large parts of them, on a website, in a newsletter or anywhere else.
• Use the Axso name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or work with you.

Every story links to its source, so we link to many other websites. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for what they publish or how they handle your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Acceptable use

When you use our site, don’t:

• Scrape or crawl the site in a way that harms it, slows it down for others, or gets around limits we set. Normal search engine indexing is fine.
• Abuse the sign-up form, for example with fake, automated or bulk sign-ups.
• Sign up anyone else without their permission.
• Try to break into, overload or interfere with the site or the systems behind it.
• Use the site to break the law.

We may block access, or remove a sign-up, that breaks these rules.

“As is” and limits on our responsibility

We offer the site and Axso Daily “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about them beyond what these terms say. That includes any promise that they will always be available, free of errors, or right for your purpose.

To the extent the law allows, Axso is not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or the email, or from relying on anything we publish. That includes lost profits, lost data and other business losses.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If you keep using the site or stay subscribed after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
